Reseña

In prisión vote scope, a comparative international glance, brings together a series of investigations that surround the issue of the right to vote of people who are deprived of their liberty in several countries on the American continent (Argentina, Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico and Canada). The authors of this work refer to various legal instruments that have channeled the promotion of the political rights of people in prison, including the American Convention on Human Rights, the Inter-American Democratic Charter and the International Covenant on Civil Rights and Politicians. The text is a contribution to democratic culture, as it focuses on a sector of the population historically marginalized from its political rights.
